We have been informed by Sunderland City Council that the Planning Application submitted in November 2016, will be heard at Committee on Wednesday 28th June. The application, committee report and all associated documents can be viewed on the planning portal and by the following link:
On drawing CLXX(52)1001 it shows the north bank of the burn reprofiled and planting in the burn. I’m stuggling to make out the extent of this on the plan, is the concrete wall demolition to begin opposite the car park outfall or will the demolition of the wall extend further west?

Some months ago I submitted a duly completed form requesting clearance to attend the Planning Committee session for the Seaburn proposal. The literature stated that this would not be acknowledged! Can you please inform me when, where and at what time I should attend this meeting?

Hi Frank,
As the applicant, we do not control who attends and/or speaks.
You would need to contact Sunderland City Council’s Planning Department and quote the application reference number. If you have registered then you should be notified of the Committee directly by the council. However, if you have heard nothing, then it is best to contact Sunderland City Council again.
Hope this helps.

Is the planning application a ruse to build a car park and nowt else?
Have Siglion attracted any investment?
Are Carillion building the houses/apartments or will it be a house builder?
Dows the Siglion development have to allow for a road to the Seaburn Tech fields that the University are flogging off?

The council did send letters out to people to notify details of this meeting on 28/6/17. Sadly, the letter typed on 20/6/17 was only posted 27/6/17 meaning it arrived after the meeting had taken place. Something tells me they did not want the public to attend. Seeking feedback of what was discussed. Perhaps they will need to repeat this meeting if the process was not followed correctly.
